Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott said he’s not worried about his contract situation with the team. He was asked if he feels any added pressure heading into the season after signing a six-year extension worth $90 million last year.

“I’m just going out here trying to do what I’ve been doing,” Elliott told reporters at training camp. “Just go out here and try to make my teammates happy, try to make myself happy. Just go out here and play football.”  “It’s not really something I think about,” he said. “You know, we’re talking about football right now. We’re not talking about contracts or anything else. You know, we’ll worry about that stuff later. Right now, we’re just focused on football.””He’s got a lot of confidence in himself,” coach Jason Garrett said. “He knows how good he is. He’s got a great work ethic. And he’s got a great attitude. So he doesn’t have to prove anything to anybody.””We’re excited about him,” quarterback Dak Prescott said. “He’s a big part of our offense. He’s a guy who’s always had a knack for making people miss. He’s a guy that’s tough to bring down. He’s a guy you want to get behind the line of scrimmage and hit. He’s a guy where you don’t want to take a shot at him. He’s a hard runner. He’s a guy we love having around us.” “I feel like I’m ready to go,” Elliott said. “I feel like everything is clicking. I feel like I’m playing fast. I feel like I haven’t slowed down yet. I feel like I still have a long way to go. But I feel like I’m getting closer and closer to being 100 percent.” “I’m just trying to keep working hard,” he said. “That’s all I can control. That’s all I can do. I’m just trying to keep grinding and keep working hard.”

 “I’m

just happy to be back,” he said. “I’m glad I’m back. I missed it. I missed the guys. I missed the fans. I missed the city. I missed everything about it. I’m just happy to be here.” “I’m just looking forward to it,” he said. “This is what I live for. This is what I love to do. I’m just looking forward to getting started.”

  “I’m

just excited to be back,” he added. “I’m excited to be back with my family. I’m excited to be back in the community. I’m excited to meet everybody again. I’m excited to start practicing again. I’m excited for the season to start.” “I’m just ready to go,” he said. “It’s time to put it all together.” “I’m just thankful for the opportunity,” he said. “The coaches gave me the chance to come back. I’m just grateful for them giving me the opportunity to come back and show them what I can do.”

“I’m just blessed to be able to play football,” he said. “And I’m just blessed to be given the opportunity to play football. I’m just thankful for everything that God has done for me “I’m just grateful,” he said. “God blesses me with opportunities like this. I’m just grateful to be given the opportunity.”
