Bam Adebayo Adebayo was drafted out of Kentucky University in 2014. He played for the Heat’s Summer League team in 2015 and 2016 before being signed to a two-way contract in 2017. In 2018 he became a full time member of the Heat.
His Career Adebayo started playing basketball at age five. He played AAU ball until high school where he led his team to three consecutive state championships. After high school, he attended Kentucky University where he averaged 13 points per game. He then went undrafted in the NBA Draft and joined the Miami Heat’s Summer league team in 2015. He spent the rest of the year with the team and earned himself a two-way contract.
His Goals Adebayo wants to play professional basketball for the rest of his career. He says “I want to be able to retire as a champion. If I could I would.”
His Favorite Player He loves LeBron James and says “LeBron is my favorite player. He’s always been someone who’s helped me get to where I am today.”
His Favorite Team The Miami Heat. He says “They have great players and they have a good culture.”
His Favorite Food Adebayo likes chicken and pasta. He says “Pasta and chicken. That’s what I eat.”
His Favorite Movie His favorite movie is ‘Taken 2’.
