1. Jordan Clarkson

Clarkson was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on February 25th, 1994. He attended Archbishop Rummel High School where he played basketball for the school’s varsity team. In his senior year, he averaged 17 points per game while shooting 43 percent from three-point range. Clarkson then went to college at the University of Kentucky where he played under head coach John Calipari. Clarkson became a starter for the Wildcats in his freshman season and helped lead them to the 2012 NCAA Championship Game. Clarkson left Kentucky after his junior season to enter the 2013 NBA Draft. He was selected with the 10th pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Clarkson signed a four-year contract worth $44 million with the Cavs. In his first season with the Cavs, Clarkson won the 2014 NBA Rookie of the Year Award. Clarkson was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2016. He was later traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Clarkson has been named to the All-Star Team twice. Clarkson has also received several awards including being named the Most Improved Player in 2015. Clarkson is currently playing for the Memphis Grizzlies.


Philippines National Basketball Team

The Philippines National Basketball Team is the official name of the men’s national basketball team of the Philippines. The team represents the country in international competitions. The team is governed by the Philippine Amateur Basketball Association (PABA). The PABA organizes both the national and regional tournaments. The national tournament is called the Shakey’s Super Conference. The team competes in the FIBA Asia Cup, Asian Games, SEABA Championships, Southeast Asian Games, and the World University Games. The team is coached by former player Ramon Fernandez.
