Moses Wright

Moses Wright was born on September 9th, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois. He played basketball at the University of Arizona where he averaged 16 points per game his senior year. After graduating, he signed a contract with the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) team Sichuan Blue Whales. In 2017, he returned to the United States to play for the New York Knicks.

The Moses Wright era was not a good one in terms of winning basketball games, however, he did leave something behind that will last forever. In April of 2019, Moses left the NBA after 13 seasons, which included a championship ring with the Warriors. He then moved back to China where his son currently resides. He is now playing professionally in Shenzhen, which is the same city that his father played previously. He said in a press conference that he wanted to return home to raise his five children. While he did play well in the league, he never lived up to the expectations that came with being the first international player to get drafted out of college. He was even considered the best foreign prospect in the history of the draft. However, he had trouble fitting in both culturally and socially because of his love for marijuana. A lot of people were disappointed in him leaving the league due to how great of a player he could have been in the NBA. He was a star in both college and the pros and was only 26 years old at the time of his departure.
