But what would happen if Durant did go to the Knicks? Would Mitchell follow him? Or would the Jazz make a move for someone else?

Here’s everything we know about the possible trade between the two superstars.

What do we know about the trade?

According to Wojnarowski, the The Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat remain among the most serious threats to land Durant But nothing is finalized yet. The Philadelphia 76ers on the other hand, expressed recent interest in Durant while the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets also inquired with the Nets. One major complication to involving logical players in trade talks for Durant like Adebayo and Utah’s Donovan Mitchell is that they are unable to be acquired via trade by Brooklyn with Ben Simmons on the roster due to designated rookie extension rules.
