He reposted his iconic block against Andre Iguodala in his IG stories.
The 2022-2023 NBA’s opening night is a little over a month and a half away and LeBron Jamesis already starting to heat up the league’s first game this year, were he and the Lakers will clash against the Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry on October 18th’s season opener.
The Warriors have know won four of the last eight NBA championships and it could’ve most certainly be five if not for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016, who ended the Bay Area team’s season in dramatic fashion.
During the 2016 season, the

Golden State Warriors looked great and were certainly the team to beat in the NBA as they were on a quest to snatch their third title in a row after becoming the first team in league’s history to reach 73 wins in a season, breaking Michael Jordan’s Bulls record of 72 wins that had standed since 1996.
The Finals were almost over, as in the first four games the Warriors managed to secure a 3-1 lead in the series, having two opportunities left to play at home.
James guided the Cavs to wins in games six and seven, giving them the opportunity to play one final game in a winner takes all fashion, with Cleveland trying to accomplish a historic feat, as no team had ever came back from a 3-1 deficit before.
In the final minutes of game 7, LeBron had a sensational deffensive play when he chased down Andre Iguodala who was about to score an easy bucket following a fast break and blocked his shot with less than two minutes to play and a tied scoreboard.
James’ block ended up being key for his team’s chances to lift the Larry O’Brien trophy,
as the Warriors couldn’t score again in the game and a three-point shot by Kyrie Irving ended up sealing Cleveland’s victory.
The “King” reposted this play on his Instagram stories after his friend Jamie Foxx tagged him in the post.
