The NBA is unarguably the best basketball league in the world. A few years ago, most of the talent in the league was basically from the United States. However, that is no longer the case.
Players like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, and Luka Doncic have already proved that there is a lot of basketball talent all across the globe. The only thing that has changed is the fact that more and more scouts from NBA franchises have started to look all across Europe for amazing players.
But even though more international players are having success in the NBA, when it comes to the Olympics, Team USA is still leaps and bounds ahead of its competition. It's evident from the fact that Team USA has won four back-to-back gold medals in the Olympics.
However, what if fans were to see a hypothetical matchup between Team USA and Team Europe? For Team Europe, a team of five will be created from the entire continent.
The popular Instagram page "Basketball Forever" asked this very question from its followers in one of its recent posts. The Team USA featured LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, and Anthony. On the other hand, Team Europe featured Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Rudy Gobert, and Evan Fournier.

Most fans believe that Team USA will easily win this imaginary matchup. For starters, their starting 5 is simply better than Team Europe's.
The addition of Evan Fournier to the team is a very questionable decision. There are many other players who can replace him and strengthen Team Europe. On top of that, Joel Embiid should certainly replace Rudy Gobert, in many fans' opinion.
