The schedule puzzle is beginning to be put together.
Before the official release of the new NBA schedule, marquee matchups for the Golden State Warriors title defense are beginning to be unveiled.
The Warriors will reportedly meet the Los Angeles Lakers on opening night and host the Memphis Grizzlies on Christmas Day. Next, the 2022 NBA Finals rematch has been revealed.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Warriors will battle the Boston Celtics on Dec. 10 in San Francisco and Jan. 19 in Boston. Both regular-season contests will take place before the All-Star break.

Golden State eliminated Boston in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals. After the Celtics won two of the first three games, the Warriors went on to win the next three contests to secure the 2022 NBA title. Following their clash in the Finals, the Warriors and Celtics will likely spark a budding rivalry for the upcoming season.
In their first matchup in December, the Warriors will get their first look at a reloaded Celtics roster that features new additions Malcolm Brogdon and Danilo Gallinari.
The full 2022-23 NBA schedule is expected to be released on Wednesday.
