For better or worse, Kevin Durant's time with the Golden State Warriors will forever be remembered by the NBA community. Before KD joined the Warriors, the team was already incredibly dominant and had already made back-to-back NBA Finals appearances.
Despite that, the Dubs went on to sign KD and it simply made the franchise unstoppable and, in all honesty, unplayable for most teams around the league. Durant went on to win two NBA titles while playing for the Warriors and was arguably their best player on the team during those championship runs.
But after the 2019 NBA Finals, KD decided it was time to move on in his career and leave the Warriors. Many believe that Draymond Green's 2018 altercation with KD played a crucial role in Durant's decision to leave the Warriors.

/>Green has always been a vocal leader on the Warriors and he has never held back in calling out his teammates when required.
Speaking of Green being a vocal player, it was proved once again during the 2018 NBA playoffs. The Warriors faced the New Orleans Pelicans in the second round of the playoffs and were the massive favorites in the series.
But during Game 3 of the series, the Warriors were underwhelming, and it resulted in a blowout loss for the team. Following the defeat, Green apparently sent KD a lot of texts at 4 AM.
Via ESPN:
"I just challenged him to be who he is. I had to tell him. I didn't see him attacking or being aggressive enough on both ends of the floor like we need him to be. You know, I don't hold back. When I see something's wrong, I have to voice my opinion. There were no hard feelings. We're just trying to win a ballgame."
/>As Green mentioned, there were no hard feelings about the incident and he just wanted to bring the best out of his teammate.
Well, KD responded to Green's challenge and put on a dominant performance for the rest of the series. Behind Durant's strong performances, the Warriors won the series 4-1 and advanced to the 2018 NBA Western Conference Finals.
