Jimmy Butler has found great success all over the NBA during his 11 years playing professional ball but he’s now known as the team leader of the Miami Heat.
The joyful athlete is respected as someone who loves a good laugh and competitive game.
He’s held in high regard by many other players and perhaps that’s why so many people are celebrating him today.

The NBA gave a shout-out to Butler, who is celebrating turning 33 on September 14.
Although 33 is quite young, Butler has been in the league for some time and has earned many honors, including six All-Star spots, four All-NBA and five All-Defensive appearances, and the 2014-15 Most Improved Player of the Year award.
But he is missing one thing: a championship victory.
Butler’s Heat are one of the best teams in the East and, really, the entire NBA.
Just a few seasons ago, the team made it all the way to the Finals but was taken out by LeBron James,
Following that, the Heat hit a few bumps in the road but came back strong in 2021-22.
They sat atop the Eastern Conference for months.
However, in the end, they couldn’t overcome the Boston Celtics, who pushed them out of the playoffs on their way to the NBA Finals.
Butler isn’t happy with missing the Finals so often and is intent on doing whatever it takes to get his team to the game’s biggest stage.
Miami hasn’t altered much during the offseason and will be starting the new year with practically the same lineup it had last year.

No matter how much success or failure the team finds, Butler will be a central piece of it all.
